Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale claims that his life may be in danger.
According to Mr. Khalwale, two men, claiming to be from the flying squad, stormed into his hotel room to arrest him on Saturday evening.
"Fellow Kenyans, my life is in eminently danger! Last night, at 9.30pm, men in two cars claiming to be from flying squad stormed a Nairobi hotel to arrest me," he revealed through a Twitter post.
The assailants reportedly refused to identify themselves to the hotel authorities but further continued to stalk Mr. Khalwale up to 2am in the morning.
Khalwale tagged Inspector General of the National Police service Joseph Boinnet and Acting Interior CS for Internal Security Fred Matiang'i in the post but there has been no response from either of the two in regards to Mr. Khalwale's claims.
