The group which identified itself as Luthuli business community was demonstrating against unfavourable business environment.
They waved placard inscribed with the words stop killing our businesses we are small traders.
The traders were also demanding the Jubilee Government to provide them with better welfare, affordable license fees among others issues.
This is the third demonstration being witnessed in Nairobi this week.
On Monday, online taxi drivers launched a country-wide protest at Uhuru Park then drove to the office of Transport Cabinet Secretary James Machariatoofficially lodgetheir complaints.
The drivers who use, Uber, Taxify, Little Cab and others taxi mobile applications were demonstrating against poor working conditions, meager pay, and insecurity.
They claimed that 35 drivers have died in the line of duty because of the poor working conditions.
On the same day boda boda operators were also demonstrating and theirs continued for two days.
The riders want a order evicting them from the CBD revoked.
