The iconic 5-star luxury hotel which is located on Lafayette Square was ranked No 1 in Washington in Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards last year.
According to various travel websites a standard room at the hotel goes for between Ksh.37,000 and 58,000 ($368-579) while the Luxury one Bedroom Suite goes for the equivalent of Ksh.185,279($1,839).
The President arrived at the hotel on Saturday evening accompanied by his delegation.
