In a schedule released by the Senate’s Public Accounts and Investment Committee, the county bosses will be grilled beginning 31 October as part of the ongoing fight against corruption and wastage of funds in the devolved units.
The following are the counties that are targeted in the grilling exercise:
The grilling comes after an audit report by Auditor general revealed massive wastage with billions of tax payers money unaccounted for.

Although some of the governors were not in office at the time of the expenditures, as the county bosses they are expected to appear before the senate over the same.
The funds in question were allocated in the 2014-2015 financial year.
