Scenes in Nairobi as Kenyans protest the arrest & torture of Bobi Wine [Photos & Video]

The demos organized by an activist group saw hundreds gather at Uhuru Park’s Freedom Corner with placard inscribed with the words #FreeBobiWine, Kenyans in Solidarity with Ugandans, Say No to Torture, Injustice anywhere is a threat of justice everywhere.

Ugandans living in Kenya were also part of the protests and called on President Yoweri Museveni-led Government to allow justice to prevail in the land.

Some of the Ugandan protesters speaking to Pulselive.co.ke accused Mr. Museveni of hard handedness noting that he was misusing the military court to convict Bobi Wine.

The musician was apprehended after violence erupted in Arua during a by-election. This led to the death of his driver, who was shot by police officers.

Today, Bobi Wine was arraigned before the General Court Martial in Gulu where fire arm possession charges were dropped.
