Anxiety as 3 officials attached to Jubilee Senator go missing

The Senator confirmed that her team members were among those missing after the incident.

The chopper crashed in the lake shortly after take-off from Jarika Hotel in the town.

It is reported that the journalists on board were being transported to a political rally in Narok Town.

Rescue efforts are underway and the National Disaster Management Unit (NDMU) and Red Cross are on the scene.

NDMU has activated a National Police Service chopper to support Nakuru County Disaster Team on search and rescue operation.

Nakuru County Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha has confirmed that KWS boats from Lake Naivasha are expected to help in the rescue mission.
