Ann Ngirita's mother falls ill, authorities directed to take her to hospital

Lucy Ngirita was directed to Kenyatta National Hospital for treatment.

Lucy Ngirita had earlier informed the court that she was unwell and required special treatment.

According to her lawyer Cliff Ombeta, Lucy said she had been unwell, and that the treatment that she was getting in remand was not enough.

The Director of Public Prosecution did not oppose the application but said she should be taken to the referral hospital under guard.

Mr Mike Muiya admitted to be a friend to the Ngirita’s but denied links to the loss of billions at the National Youth Service.

Earlier, an explosive affidavit penned by one of the Ngiritas exposed Muiya, as an alleged culprit in the multi-billion scandal at the National Youth Service (NYS).

The sensational affidavit revealed that Muiya was in a partnership with the Ngirita and together they conducted business with the NYS, allegations he has since denied.

“I wish to state that our company has been actively trading with the National Youth Service in partnership with Mike Julius Kingii Muia who is the Chief Investigating officer in the NYS case since 2014.
