“Let me thank for extending a helping hand to Conjestina Achieng' who hails from a REGION that - a looting billionaire coward - and his killing machines, have reduced to conditions that are unfit even for wild beasts. ,” read Miguna’s tweet.

His words came after the Nairobi Governor sent his official to Congestina’s home in Siaya where they picked her up and brought her to Nairobi for mental treatment.

“My team is currently airlifting ailing veteran female boxer  from her rural home in Gem, Siaya County for treatment in Nairobi. I’ll ensure she’s fully rehabilitated and treated before she’s assisted to get a stable job” shared Governor Sonko

Achieng’s career came to a sudden halt after she was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was subsequently admitted at Mathari Hospital in 2012.

Achieng participated in 27 fights and won 17. She lost four times, and drew six times.
