Mutula Junior issues bold warning to Nasa principals over 2022

You must do this lest you forget so easily.

In a rare message to the four, the lawmaker has told them to stay together ahead of the 2022 General Elections, lest their split would serve to benefit Jubilee Party.

This comes after news that the coalition’s affiliate members each presented their preferred 2022 presidential candidates, further confirming the alliance’s looming split.

The Wiper point-man has warned that any attempts by the opposition coalition chiefs to separate will easily hand over the leadership to Jubilee Party for a third term.

The lawmaker has, however, also advised the embattled coalition to re-organise themselves in advance and settle on their preferred presidential candidate in time.

Fooled

On Wednesday, ANC Secretary General Barack Muluka exposed a plan in which ODM leader Musalia Raila Odinga alleged fooled the three other principals to miss the controversial swearing in fete at Uhuru Park on January 30.

Mr Barrack Muluka, the ANC secretary-general, claimed that Mr Odinga threw his colleagues into a spin when he appeared alone at Uhuru Park despite an agreement to meet at one of the principals’ houses before the event.

Mr Muluka sensationally claimed that Mr Odinga had asked his three fellow principals Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang’ula to switch off their phones and wait for his call using a Nigerian number.

The call, Mr Muluka claimed, took long to come, and when it did it failed to answer the questions the trio asked.

“The principals were not foolish, and they did not switch off their phones. When one of them called, and put Raila on speaker, he said I am marooned and he was asked by who? And he said, ‘these people’.

"He was asked, marooned by police or the military? He quickly said, ‘I will call you and tell you how we can meet.’ He then he left for Uhuru Park,” Mr Muluka told Citizen TV on Wednesday night.
