5 Family members killed in Nasty Accident

Five family members have perished in a grisly road accident along Nyahururu-Nyeri road near Ndaragwa trading centre in Nyandarua County.

Reports indicate that the accident involved a personal car and a 2NK 14 seater Matatu at the notorious Kianugu black spot.

The early morning accident has left scores injured.

The personal car the family was travelling in collided with a Nissan Matatu after their car got a tyre burst and rolled severally.

Occupants in the personal car among them two children, a man and two women died on the spot. Other passengers were referred to the Nyahururu County referral hospital with serious wounds.
