Joho dramatically arrested

Joho was dramatically arrested on Monday morning after...

Joho was at the police station to demand the release of 10 county inspectorate officers arrested while conducting demolitions early on Monday.

A standoff ensued at the police station as Joho insisted the police had no authority to arrest his county officers while they were performing their duties.

Joho was then detained for close to four hours by the police over claims of trespass while protesting land grabbing in the area.

The Governor blamed the Police Commander and his officers of working with a private developer to grab public land and that was why they arrested his county officers.

"We can no longer enforce county laws because of fear of police. We have a case where police are supervising illegal construction," Joho compalined.

The Governor said he will now go to court to seek for determination in terms of enforcement over the matter.
