Uhuru's meeting with controversial businessman in Mombasa

Politician and activist Boniface Mwangi was among the first people to comment about the meeting, highlighting that the businessman is currently in court “for acquisition of public resources totalling to Sh. 10.4 billion."

In his second term in office, President Kenyatta will be seeking to cement his legacy with a clear agenda for the nation already in place.

The public is keenly watching to see how he handles corruption which remains a major concern for many.

Although the businessman remains innocent until proved guilty by a court of law,   a section of the public weighed in on the president, questioning his commitment in the fight against corruption.
