Through various posts on his twitter account, Miguna has stated that NASA principle Raila Odinga was begging for power instead of fighting for it like other African leaders he stated.

“This is Raila Odinga’s big mistake. In 2011, Allasane Quattara bravely staked out the presidency of Côte d’Ivoire. Gambian president, Adama Barrow did the same in January, 2017. No one begs for power,” Miguna twitted.

Miguna further wrote that he and other individuals refused to obey former president Moi until they ‘won.’ “Daniel arap Moi made Kenya a one party dictatorship in 1982. Those who resisted were killed, detained or exiled. Some of us chose to resist & struggled for decades until we won. Liberators don't obey unjust laws” Read another tweet by Miguna.

Raila Odinga stated on Saturday 26 that he would not be sworn in on 28 November as stated earlier. This was after a closed meeting with NASA leaders in Maanzoni lodge, Machakos county.
