Cuban doctor robbed

He was robbed on Monday.

A Wajir based Cuban doctor is reported to have been robbed by unknown assailants, on Monday.

The doctor, who filed a report at Wajir Police Station, claimed that someone entered his house and stole his clothes.

According to Daily Nation, a police report filed by the doctor said that he woke up ready to go to work but was shocked to discover that eight of his shirts were missing, along with two vests.

It was however not clear how the thief gained access to the Wajir Referral Hospital based doctor’s house since he has armed security guards attached to him.

Investigation

Detectives have started investigating the matter.

This comes weeks after the 100 specialist Cuban doctors were dispatched to all the 47 counties in Kenya.

The Cuban doctors arrived in Kenya early June and were set to embark on training Kenyan medics across the country for two years in family healthcare among other health related issues.
