Police take action after #IfikieWazazi, several teens arrested, key suspect at large

A police crackdown in Nairobi saw several teenagers below the age of 18 arrested while engaging in obscene acts and posing for nasty photographs.

The raid that was conducted by the police from Central Police stations netted several teenagers after their activities attracted the attention of curious members of the public who tipped the police.

The teenagers were also found in possession of pornographic materails and Postinor 2 tablets, popularly referred to as P2.

They were booked in at Central Police Station along with the photographers and would face charges of Children Sexual Exploitation.

The parents of the teens expressed disappointment in the activities of their children.

Police have launched investigations to net the key suspected responsible for recruiting the children into pornography photography.

One of the parents could not hide his disappointment and stated that “Nachukulia vibaya na ametudisappoint sana sana sana hata iko shocking (I take it badly and am so so so disappointed, it is even shocking)”.

This coms barely a few days after news went viral, portraying the moral rot among the youth in Kenya with the #IfikieWazazi trending.
