Journalist killed in road accident

RIP

Obino, who was pursuing the story of a missing Ngara Girls High School student, met his death at 2 PM near Muthaiga police station.

The MediaMax journalist was trying to cross the road to meet up with his colleagues when the accident happened.

According to his workmates, Obino was trailing behind them, therefore, he decided to board a matatu. His body was transferred to City Mortuary.

Big loss

Members of the Fourth Estate were pained by Obino's death and thronged to pass their condolences to the family and People Daily.
