Bora Uhai, Cyprian Nyakundi’s reacts after losing 0.5 million Twitter followers

Nyakundi followers gone

In a tweet, Nyakundi responded with the now popular phrase bora uhai meaning as long as one has life all other things are just details.

The blogger was among Twitter big-shots affected by the ongoing clean up being conducted by the social media platform.

In under 24 hours Nyakundi’s followers have reduced from a whopping 1.2 million to 696,000.

At the same time, well-known social media influencer Xtian Dela also saw his followers cut by almost half a million.

Twitter announced that it will be conducting the cleanup in a bid to build trust and encourage healthy conversation on Twitter.

In a statement, Twitter said: "We understand this may be hard for some, but we believe accuracy and transparency make Twitter a more trusted service for public conversation."
