A section of Malindi residents led by ODM women coordinator Riziki Baya said they will be collecting signatures to oust Ms Jumwa for her "bad behaviour".
Ms Jumwa was castigated by her constituents after one person was shot dead in a scuffle between rival ODM Party supporters in Ganda Ward in Malindi, Kilifi County.
Baya said: “We are tired with her, especially, after she caused the death of one us just because of a simple ward by-election."

The Malindi MP was accused of using her influence to erroneously award tenders and handling the running the constituency development fund.
According to Ms Baya, tenders and work opportunities in the constituency were being awarded to family members and not residents who are qualified.
Former Malindi MP Wily Mtengo said that the journey for a Malindi by-election was on course and opponents should brace for a fight.
