In a statement form the anti-corruption body, the county legislator is accused of having doctored and uttering a false document that was presented to the IEBC during the 2017 General Election.
EACC further divulged that the document was a KCA University letter of completion, which normally given to students who have completed their studies but are yet to graduate.
"After the 2017 General Elections, the Commission received a report that the MCA had forged her documents prompting EACC to conduct investigations.

"After submitting our investigation reports, we received consent from the DPP to arrest and charge her.
"Ms Pamela Akinyi is being charged for these offenses under the LIA 2012 and the Penal Code. She will take plea at the Kakamega Anti-Corruption Court tomorrow (Thursday)," the EACC update read in part.
Second suspect at large
EACC detectives stated that a second suspect is also on their radar for having assisted the MCA to forge the document.

"A second accomplice, a former employee of KCA, Alfred Otieno Ouma, is at large and is being sought," EACC conveyed.
