Matiang’i announces urgent reshuffle for senior officers in his ministry

The changes will be effected immediately

Matiang’i makes major reshuffle affecting 59 top officers in Ministry of Interior

Interior CS Fred Matiang’i on Wednesday announced an urgent and drastic reshuffle in the top management positions in his ministry.

A total of 59 officials were reshuffled in changes the CS would be take place with immediate effect.

In the changes, William Kang’ethe will become the Principal Administrative Secretary in the Ministry of Interior.

Mohamed Saleh

Wycliffe Ogallo will now become secretary national administration, while Peter Thuku is the new Secretary for Peace Building and Conflict Management and Disaster Response.

Ambassador Mohamed Saleh will take office as Secretary Liaison office.

Several regional commissioners and county commissioners have been moved in the changes meant to improve service delivery.
