In a tweet, Miguna said that the former Prime Minister had been reduced to the same level as that of the president’s bodyguard and personal assistant after a photo surfaced online with Raila sitting on the same position as Jomo Gecaga.
He went on to claim that Raila Odinga had been reduced to a Jawanya – a Luo word used to describe a person who goes to people’s houses to beg for food.
“This is rich and amusing. I've laughed until my stomach hurts. So, has become Uhuru Kenyatta's PA-cum-bodyguard like Jomo Gecaga? Imagine Raila Odinga being reduced to the same level as Jomo Gecaga! Gracious Lord! Wow! Sitting right at the back like a JAWANYA!” wrote the NRM General.
