Kuria responded to Waititu and Muchomba during an interview with vernacular station Inooro TV.
The response was in the typical unrestrained nature of the Gatundu South MP as he stated he did not drink with anyone’s mother.
“These people are always saying I have insulted them whether I have done it or not. This talk of saying am a drunkard and I talk when drunk, but do I drink with your mother?…don’t make me angry,” he told presenter Kamau Kang’ethe.
Kang’ethe appeared shocked by the response with a few moments of awkward silence before he quickly switched the topic, “let’s look at the SMS”.
Moses Kuria's comments on President Uhuru Kenyatta
Kuria has recently come on the spot over remarks he made on New Year’s Eve, accusing President Uhuru Kenyatta of neglecting the region.
In his heated speech, the fiery MP told the head of state to stop taking the Mt Kenya voters as fools, prompting quick responses from the President’s supporters.
At the start of his address, the MP had told the jubilant crowd not to take him too seriously, and admitted that he taken a little alcohol in line with the festive mood.
He later apologized for the remarks, saying his message had been misinterpreted.
