Sonko hits back at Raila

This is a task that can only be done by the President of the Republic and the Interior and Coordination Cabinet Secretary.

Speaking during a rally in Kibera, the former Prime Minister told his supporters that they should not report to work but stay at home to mourn those who had been killed after the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) declared President Uhuru Kenyatta the winner of the just concluded General Election.

Mr. Odinga who has disputed the results as announced by the electoral body stated "Kesho hakuna kazi" sentiments that were repeated by Siaya Senator James Orengo.

“We are telling the people of Nairobi to open their shops and businesses tomorrow. And we are also asking the police to be vigilant and if anybody tries to steal and torch property to deal with them accordingly,” he said.
