Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko gives update on powerful people who have impregnated slay queens

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko on Friday morning gave an update on a project he had publicly announced to out prominent people who have impregnated naïve young women – popularly referred to as slay queens.

Sonko announced that his investigations had established that 36 Cabinet Secretaries, four Principal Secretaries, seven Governors, two Presidential candidates (one major front runner), 26 MP's, 9 Senators, 22 MCAs, and eight prominent businessmen had been named as renowned personalities who have impregnated women and refused to take responsibility.

The Governor, however, did not name the affected individuals, saying he was in the process of compiling a detailed dossier which he would publish on his social media pages.

He added that he had also initiated a process of hiring legal counsel to the affected women, for purposes of getting justice for their children.

In a number of cases, we men are carelessly doing "bad manners" with our girlfriends without protection and even testing for HIV. Also in almost all the cases a few months after enjoying doing bad manners we send money to our girlfriends convincing them to abort”.

One prominent Presidential, 2 Mps, 2 Governors and a prominent businessman have done this more than 3 times with different girlfriends. Other politicians, senior civil servants and businessmen intimidate their girlfriends with even death threats for them not to be exposed,” Sonko said.

It was not immediately clear if the Cabinet Secretaries named included those who had since left government since the current Cabinet has a total of 22 CSs.
