Why Miguna Miguna has refused to concede defeat

Miguna explains why he can’t concede defeat to Mike Sonko

According to Miguna, he is still consulting on how to deal with cartels and the culture of impunity in Nairobi County.

“Thirdly, I'm consulting widely on The Way Forward concerning the fight against the Cartels & the Culture of Impunity. Please, STAY TUNED!” said Miguna Miguna through his Twitter account.

Miguna also sent his gratitude to those who offered him support during his struggle to become the next governor of Nairobi.

“Second, I wish to extend my gratitude to everyone who voted for me on August 8th and those who have contributed to our struggle thus far.” Said Miguna

He added that he will never respect the cartels and will keep on fighting until he defeats them (in the words of Miguna all his competitors were cartels)

"Shall never respect the cartels. We shall fight and defeat them. The struggle is protracted but it will and must continue! Viva!"
