Nakuru Senator Susan Kihika on Sunday took to Twitter to celebrate her new roles as Deputy President William Ruto’s “bodyguard” even as the tanga tanga team was hit with a crisis of numerous bodyguards being recalled by the Office of the President.

Kihika posted a photo where she accompanied the DP at a public function, clad in sunglasses, she was captured leaning on Ruto’s vehicle in the manner that VIP bodyguards work.
In the caption, she made reference to the withdrawal of her bodyg uards – saying she would not be intimidated and would remain loyal to Ruto.
"They took away my bodyguard to intimidate me. I decided I can actually be the Deputy President’s Bodyguard! Nothing is as powerful as an idea whose time has come. #HustlerNation,” she tweeted.
The post was widely shared by other politicians belonging to the Tanga Tanga team that has been supportive of the DP’s 2022 presidential bid.
“Kabisa Sue. And many Angel's on Guard,” Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa said, also a promiment member of the Tanga Tanga squad.
Kihika was among Ruto allies whose security was withdrawn alongside Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichungwa, Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri and Kiambu governor Ferdinard Waititu.
