In August Itiumbi differed sharply with NTV’s Larry Madowo who raised concern about the legitimate of form 34A and 34B uploaded on the IEBC website.

Itumbi replied stating that Larry was spreading fake news on very sensitive matters without checking on the facts.

"As usual  spreads Fake News on a sensitive matter. He does not bother to check or confirm. Here the form"said Itumbi

Madowo hit back stating that he got the information on the IEBC website and therefore if its fake, then IEBC must be giving the fake news. He went ahead to question Itumbi’s relationship with IEBC.
