Sources indicate that NASA supporters led by Dagoretti North MP-Elect Simba Arati and activist Japheth Moroko are set to hold a peaceful demonstration outside the Supreme Court Friday morning.
Mr Arati, however, could not be reached for a comment as his phone went unaswered.
The demonstration, the two argue is in support of the petition filed by ODM leader Raila Odinga challenging President Uhuru Kenyatta's win in the August 8 general election.
The move to call for peaceful demonstrations comes in the backdrop of an announcement by NASA technical committee chairman Dr David Ndii's announcement that NASA is prepared for major demonstration whether or not the court rules in favour of Raila Odinga.
Meanwhile, on Thursday evening, Uhuru Kenyatta’s legal team submitted a response to the NASA petition in which he is listed as the first respondent in the NASA petition, banking on a group of high end lawyers to outdo Mr Odinga.
The national Super Alliance (NASA) has expressed disquiet in the process, tempting the seven-bench judges at the apex court to issues a damning warning to the team.
Mr Odinga has been critical of the conduct of the court, while Mr Mudavadi earlier alluded that the opposition will not accept a 2-minute ruling as was the case in the 2013 petition.
Mr Odinga demands that all the seven judges should give their personal judgement, different from what happened in 2013 where a collective ruling was read, awarding Mr Kenyatta the win.
