The NGO board of Kenya on Tuesday ordered for the freezing of accounts belonging to an NGO associated with Rosemary Odinga- daughter to NASA flag bearer Rosemary Odinga.

The body said the move was necessitated because the NGO associated with Rosemary had been operating "illegal accounts".

In May, the NGO had also frozen the accounts of the Kalonzo Musyoka Foundation.

The Non-Governmental Organisations Coordination Board also dissolved the foundation’s board for failure to account for Sh196 million.

In Febraury, the Board de-registered Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero’s Foundation over multiple financial irregularities.
