The wrangles that saw President Uhuru Kenyatta refer to some leaders as "washenzi" was sparked by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria who claimed that the president had neglected development in the region.
Mbadi now claims that the DP has been funding what he referred to as crazy movements to further fuel the fire.

One such initiative, he hinted, was the riot organized by Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri on Tuesday.
"Ruto is spending a lot of time and resources on some leaders to do things that are crazy.
"His (Ngunjiri’s) anger, when you see him talk, is not because there is no development in his Bahati Constituency, but because the President has refused to endorse Ruto.
"Endorsing Ruto, to him, is like creating development. It looks ridiculous," Mbadi stated.
Mbadi, however, insisted that his comments were not partisan or aimed at pushing out the deputy president.
"For us, we are members of ODM and not Jubilee, so we have no stake in Jubilee to push him out.
"Our agenda is to promote the peaceful initiatives between the President and our leader Raila Odinga," he explained.
