Kabogo meets DP Ruto, what Kenyans had to say [Photo]

Kabogo has in the past declared that Ruto should not expect automatic support from Mt Kenya.

Kabogo captioned the photo, "I “tangatangad”Karen to see my good friend the DP."

The "tangatanga" (loitering) phrase blew up last week when President Uhuru Kenyatta during a stop over shortly after issuing 50,000 title deeds to landowners at Jacaranda Grounds in Embakasi East "threw a jibe" at his deputy when he "accused him" of loitering across the country during the weekend politicking.

"Hii Kijana anaitwa Ruto unajua kila weekend anatangatanga kila pahali atakuwa anapitia hizi machoro choro mkiona kuna kitu inaenda kona kona mumwambie," Kenyatta said.

Kabogo and Ruto's relationship has been frosty since the 2017 elections with the former Kiambu Governor accusing the DP of being behind his woes that saw him defend his seat as an independent in the race which he later lost to Jubilee Party's Ferdinand Waititu.

Kenyans reactions

The picture drew mixed reactions from Kenyans with some commending the two leaders for seemingly setting aside their differences saying that was the way to go even suggesting that the two would make a great 2022 pairing.

Others however cautioned Kabogo reminding him that it was the DP who led the former governor to his last year's downfall while another section hilariously made fun of the now famous "Tangatanga" quote.
