Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi in a tweet said that the Economic Freedom Party of Mandera was never invited to support the Jubilee party in the August 8 2017 election.

“Nobody invited Economic Freedom Party of Mandera to Join JUBILEE ...they stormed without any invitation,” he said.

The Party accused President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto of defaulting on their promise of considering members of the party in Cabinet appointments, Parliamentary positions and other key Government positions.

EFP Chairman Issack Hassan Abey on Monday said that they felt cheated after rallying Mandera County to support President Uhuru's re-election.
