Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Friday scolded politicians during the funeral of former vice president

The Opposition leader took issue with what he termed as bickering from the politicians who are more concerned with foreign trips than serving the people.

"There is a very annoying thing that Kenyans from all 47 counties are now fed up with and that is the constant bickering from our politicians.

"We are hearing governor fighting the speaker until he is impeached until the other day we heard that the mace was stolen!" the former PM recounted.

He went on to strongly caution politicians against encouraging the hostility noting that it was hurting the gains made through devolution.

"That's a very bad show and it will only breed fights. That is not service to citizens. Politicians are greedy for money, if they are not demanding cars, it is houses, other times money has been taken from this house commitee to the other!

"Others even demand to be sponsored for foreign trips, let me tell you, other nations are fed up with Kenyan delegations because of the reckless misappropriation of funds and it must stop!" he scolded.

The ODM party leader eulogised the late Mzee Musyoka as a "man of steel" who served his country well.

"We have come to celebrate the life of Mzee Musyoka Wa Mairu who is old steel that could never gather rust

"I am told that he even fought in the First World War. Kalonzo is of the same breed as his late father," he commended.
