Atwoli Leaves Kenyans in Stitches After Hilarious Prayer: VIDEO

Francis Atwoli made a hilarious prayer.

Cotu secretary general Francis Atwoli

Atwoli, who is known for being vocal and highly opinionated, led prayers against those behind the maize scandal and called for God's intervention.

Blame Your Leaders

"God I am weak; I do not have power, I can do nothing as I'm also being fought. God save us so that this country changes," the trade unionist stated.

Atwoli was in Rift Valley during the weekend where he told residents that leaders were to blame for the woes faced by maize farmers in the region.

"He (God) brought us to a country that is full hyenas and in the jaws of the dogs and He should deliver the country. God touch the heart of President so that he can save us," the Cotu boss said during the prayer.

"Oh God, do not leave us, if there are any thieves amidst us, please take them away from us without haste," Atwoli interceded during the prayer.

"The people who take the farmers' maize, even if they are our sons, they are evil, please take them away from our faces. We are poor and cannot handle them, send your angels to help get rid of these thieves," he added.

NSSF Troubles

During the prayer, Atwoli also interceded for the troubles at NSSF. He claimed that a powerful person was behind the woes at the NSSF board adding that there was a scheme to steal money.

"I am very weak and often opposed. Right now there's a woman who's against me. She wants me out so that the NSSF money is stolen the same way resources have disappeared from NHIF," claimed Atwoli in the intercession.

National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale had sponsored an amendment to the NSSF Act 2013 which appeared to have targeted the Cotu boss.
