Babu Owino, Millicent Omanga meet for the first time after heated exchange [Photos]

This comes months after the two leaders were involved in a heated exchange of words on social media.

“I would love to take this opportunity to appreciate my sister Hon. Millicent Omanga, Lower Savanah Ward MCA Hon Nicholas Okumu and thousands of patriots who showed up at Jacaranda grounds to help me award bursaries to our sisters and brothers in various secondary schools, tertiary institutions and universities today. Like I promised during the aforementioned function, I will ensure that all those who applied and qualified for bursaries get awarded. God bless Kenya,” read Babu Owino’s tweet.

Heated exchange

The two legislators have for a long time been having differences owing to their political realignments and were at one time involved in a heated exchange of words on social media.

Babu then responded that he had no time for her.

“I have no time for Mr. Ibu’s side Chick. Nairobians are aware of how your waist gate earned you Jubilee Nomination.” Read Babu Owino's response.

The peace between Babu and Omanga is one inspired by the recent peace deal between President Uhuru and Opposition Chief Raila Odinga.
