Babu Owino’s special request after Uhuru’s order on lifestyle audit

President Uhuru ordered a lifestyle audit on all state officers

“I’ll be the first person to present myself when this thing comes, in fact I don’t even want the president to start it. I want Babu Owino himself to start the lifestyle audit because corruption is destroying this nation,” said Babu.

The vocal legislator went ahead and said that he had nothing to hide because he can account for everything he owns.

“I have only two cars, mine and my wife’s and I can explain every detail and when the lifestyle audit will come I will do it and I have accepted. I even know the tithe that I pay and I know through my sweat and my tears where the money came from, that’s why I want to be the first person to be audited and if found guilty let me be convicted.” Said Babu Owino.

President Uhuru Kenyatta said the audit would start with him and his deputy William Ruto, followed by all Governors, Cabinet Secretaries and other state officials in that order.
