Reports indicate that the two were injured after an LCD screen set for the public to follow the proceedings fell from a beam it had been mounted on due to strong winds.

The two were rescued by the Red Cross Workers, as they had been trapped under the heavy metals used to mount the screen and rushed to Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital.

The screen fell a few meters from where Deputy William Ruto and a few Bishops were waiting to receive President Uhuru Kenyatta.
