DP Ruto’s delegation blocked from meeting Mzee Moi

Moi had recently met with Raila

According to Senate Majority Leader Kipchumba Murkomen, Mzee Moi’s son, Gideon has been blocking some politicians based on their political allegiance.

Murkomen alleged that the Deputy President and his political allies would also have wished to meet President Moi but their efforts were being undermined by Gideon.

“We have been trying to get an appointment with Mzee Moi, but is very difficult. His son has been using political loyalty to determine who meets his father,” Murkomen stated.

Murkomen’s comments, have attracted criticism from some of the Jubilee rebel MPs who are loyal to Gideon.

Moiben Silas Tiren accused the vocal senator of being disrespectful by dragging 2022 politics in Mzee Moi’s family life.

“Murkomen has a father who is a pastor, let him seek blessings from his father. He should not bring politics in the former President’s family life,” Tiren stated.
