Blow for David Ndii after Government's drastic decision
Ndii is the latest NASA member to be frustrated by the government.
The government through the Department of Immigration Services has suspended the passport of Ndii and ordered him to surrender the document within 21 days.
Other NASA leaders
Reports also indicate the Immigration Department has also suspended the passports of several NASA leaders including James Orengo, Johnson Muthama and Jimmy Wanjigi.
The NASA strategist becomes the latest NASA member to be frustrated by the government after attending Raila Odinga's swearing-in as the "People's President" on January 30.
Last week, Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang, Makadara MP George Aladwa and National Resistance Movement General Miguna Miguna were all arrested by the police on charges of participating in an illegal oath and treason as well as planning Raila's swearing-in.
Kajwang and Aladwa were later released on bond while Miguna was on Tuesday morning arraigned before a Kajiado Magistrates Court to answer to treason charges.
Miguna refused to take a plea saying his case was booked for a High Court session at the Nairobi Milimani Law Courts.
Last year in December, Ndiii was arrested in Kwale over his alleged role in formation of the People's Assembly, a claim which the police later refuted.
