It is not clear if Friday’s lunch with Odinga was meant to prepare the ground for a warm reception given the differences that the two have shared public.

It is also not clear if the visit is infomed by last weekend's successful tour of the region by Baringo Senator Gideon Moi.

Most recently, the DP made it known that he would oppose the calls for a referendum if its aim is to create a position for the former Prime Minister.
