DP Ruto's billionaire friend has a demand list for Uhuru

A close friend of Deputy President William Ruto on Monday morning issued seven demands to President-elect Uhuru Kenyatta just hours to his inauguration scheduled for Tuesday, November 28.

Donald Kipkorir, who is also a well-known lawyer, demanded Mr. Kenyatta to embark on fulfilling seven key issues he listed after he is sworn in for a second term.

Among the critical areas, Kipkorir highlighted include Kenyatta being a servant leader, bringing National unity, hope, and diversity.

The billionaire also stated that for Kenyatta to leave a lasting and memorable legacy he ought to also assure Kenyans that they all had equal opportunities in the country.

He added that the Head of State should vow to protect the lives of every Kenyan against police killings, which has been rampant in the recent past.

“Uhuru Kenyatta ... Tomorrow you begin your last legacy term .. Offer us in word & deed: servant leadership, optimism, hope, national unity & diversity .. Give each of 46m Kenyans a lottery ticket of life with an equal chance of win ... Make sure no Kenyan is killed by Police ever,” he said.

Though good friends with DP Ruto, Kipkorir publicly refused to support Mr. Kenyatta during the August 8 General Election.

The lawyer, announced his support for the National Super Alliance (NASA) and has been making arguments in support of its leader Raila Odinga.

"On 8.8.17, I will vote Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga as our 5th President ... On 9.8.22, I will vote H. E. William Ruto as our 6th President," Kipkorir tweeted.

The flamboyant lawyer said that he had endorsed Mr. Odinga because "Kenya needs a leader who will put the country above self. Who will want all Kenya to rise together A leader who wouldn't discriminate because of political ideology or tribe or religion".
