Trump shames Obama in last night's tweet

US President Donald Trump on Sunday night hit out at his predecessor US President Barack Obama who is currently in Kenya on a family visit.

President Trump accused Obama of influencing the ongoing probe into alleged interference by the Russians during the US 2016 election.

"President Obama thought that Crooked Hillary was going to win the election, so when he was informed by the FBI about Russian Meddling, he said it couldn’t happen, was no big deal, & did NOTHING about it. When I won it became a big deal and the Rigged Witch Hunt headed by Strzok!" Trump tweeted.

It was the second time that Trump has hit out at Obama over the weekend.

On Saturday, he tweeted,“the stories you heard about the 12 Russians yesterday took place during the Obama Administration, not the Trump Administration. Why didn’t they do something about it, especially when it was reported that President Obama was informed by the FBI in September, before the Election?”.

Despite the frequent attacks from his successor, Obama has maintained statesmanly silence and has concentrated on his foundation and on family affairs.

During his trip to Kenya, he met President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga and assured them of his support for their famous unity deal.

On Monday, he launched Sauti Kuu Foundation founded by his sister Auma Obama.
