DP Ruto lands in Bungoma with Sh300Million in his goodies bag

What DP Ruto did in Bungoma

The DP who addressed gatherings at different events in the county brought good tidings with him with the county benefiting  from money amounting in excess of Sh 300Million.

The DP announced that the government was set to direct Sh 250 Million towards the construction of Sirisia Teachers’ Training College.

Ruto also announced that roads in the county would be upgraded with a further Sh 8 Million pumped into the last mile connectivity program that will see residents of the country get access to electricity.

The DP presided over a fund raiser at Namwela Boys’ High School where he donated Ksh 2Million.

He further promised that the government would pump in Sh 20 Million towards improving infrastructure in the school.

Politics featured in his speech as he declared that the electioneering period is over and the constant wrangles by the political class only derail development.

Ruto said that “the people of Kenya voted for us and it is now our time to deliver on the promises we made. We are ready to work with everyone for the development of our country”.

Other speakers in the series of rallies also urged opposition politicians in the National Super Alliance (NASA) to put politics aside and support Jubilee government's development agenda for the nation.

The DP’s entourage which included Ken Lusaka MPs John Waluke, Dan Wanyama, Charles Kanyi Njagua, Oscar Sudi, Moses Kuria, David Gikaria and Shadrack Mose.
