DP Ruto's statement on working with Wetangula and other NASA leaders in Jubilee
The DP who was addressing the public in a series of events in Western Kenya divulged that several leaders are on their way to Jubilee in pursuit of national unity and development.
“Mimi naona akina Weta(Moses Wetangula) hawako mbali…Wakikuja tufanye kazi pamoja iko makosa? Hapo hakuna makosa. I can see Wetangula and others are not far….Is there a problem should they come to work together with us? There is no problem in that.” Ruto said.
The DP also divulged that Bungoma County Woman Representative Catherine Wambilianga is also close to joining the Jubilee team.
He urged the region to support the Jubilee administration not only in development, but also at the ballot come 2022.
Ikolomani MP Benard Shinali who was in attendance assured the DP of the region’s consolidated votes should he do a good job come 2022.
“2022 ukifanya kazi vizuri, sisi sote bila kugawana tuko pamoja na wewe.(If you do a good job come 2022 we will all be with you without any division)” Shinali said.
The DP lauded leaders from Western Kenya who had chosen to join the Jubilee camp, maintaining that others willing to join Jubilee should not be prevented from doing so.
He reiterated that the government will not allow unscrupulous businessmen and investors to bring in substandard products that compromise the health of Kenyans.
“We do not want investors who bring in substandard products that would also affect the health of Kenyans…We will do all we can to ensure that quality standards are met whenever goods are brought into the country” Ruto said.
The DP who was on a working tour of Wesren Kenya was accompanied by MPsMwambu Mabonga (Bumula) John Weluke(Sirisia) Benjamin Washiali (Mumias East) Didmus Barasa(Kimilili) Ayub Savula(Lugari), Senate Speaker Ken Lusaka and Bungoma County Woman Representative Catherine Wambilianga.
