DP Ruto witnesses ugly spat between MPs supporting his 2022 bid

DP Ruto witnesses clash between MPs supporting his 2022 bid

Lurambi MP Titus Khamala kicked off the storm after he bashed DP Ruto who was in attendance for not treating them equally despite the fact that all support his 2022 bid and are solidly behind him.

In a quick response, Ikolomani MP Bernard Shinali dismissed him, maintaining that it was unfair for leaders who joined Jubilee the other day to demand equal treatment with those who have been loyal for more than 5 years.

“Even at a work place, a late comer cannot demand an equal pay with those who reported earlier. There is no way they can be paid the same amount," Shinali said.

Ruto on his part urged MPs allied to him to allow many more to join his camp ahead of the 2022 elections which the DP has expressed interest in.

Meanwhile, it has also emerged that NASA principal Moses Wetangula is set to ditch the opposition and join the ruling Jubilee party.

This was disclosed by Sports CS Rashid Achesa who stated that he had held face to face discussions with the Bungoma Senator who has agreed to join the rival Jubilee camp.

Ndugu yetu wetangula tumezungumza nay eye ana kwa ana na tumekubaliana ya kwamba anakuja kufanya na sisi kazi (We have spoken with our brother Wetangula and we have agreed that he is coming to work together with us)

Echesa made the remarks during DP Ruto’s working tour of Bungoma and Kakamega that was not short of drama as MPs publicly clashed over support for the DP in 2022.
