Rare footage shows Keter’s supporters clashing with Pro-Ruto demonstrators, protests end in confusion

Supporters of Nandi hills MP Alfred Keter clashed with those allied to DP Ruto who were protesting against his recent remarks which linked the DP to corruption.

A video footage seen by Pulselive.co.ke shows several supports of the embattled MP engaging in shouting matches with the rival camp and singing pro-Keter songs in the local dialect.

What was meant to be protest against the Nandi Hills legislator ended in confusion as the pro-Keter camp stole the show, hailing him as an honest man who speaks the truth and vowing to give him five more years in office.

The protests which were held in Nandi and Uasin Gishu counties on Friday saw leaders from the two counties declare that the embattled legislator is not welcome until he offers an apology to the DP.

Keter had launched a scathing attack in which he tore into the DP, linking him to corruption and promising to campaign against him in 2022.
