Speaking during an interview on KTN, Mr. Sifuna avoided answering the source of the former Prime Minister’s wealth noting that the audit would reveal such matters.
The ODM Secretary-General emphasized that Mr. Odinga was ready for the lifestyle auditing as directing by President Uhuru Kenyatta and expressed confidence in his party leader.
"It is okay to question and that is why Raila Odinga himself has said that he is ready and willing. He actually invites the lifestyle audit on himself.

"I do not know whether he is clean or not but that is the matter for the audit to bring out. We should not preempt the results," Sifuna said.
The lawyer noted that the lifestyle audit was not targeting any particular individual but was a process all leaders must undergo in order to fight corruption.
"I like that Uhuru Kenyatta said that it will start with him so that it cascades to all the other leaders. We know that there are people who have been using public office to enrich themselves," he siad.
This comes days after Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen said that the lifestyle audit was introduced to target Deputy President William Ruto.
In an interview on Citizen TV, Murkomen opposed the process stating that it did not have any legal basis.
