ODM issues new statement over Cambridge Analytica saga

The Raila led party through its Secretary General Edwin Sifuna said that in the political climate of reconciliation and dialogue Jubilee should lay bare what exactly the firm did for them.
“We want our Jubilee counterparts to come clean on the role Cambridge Analytica played in their campaigns so that we can openly deal with the rifts created by these political mercenaries on the fabric of Kenyan society,” Mr Sifuna said in the statement.
Moving forward the NASA politician recommended that the involvement of foreign firms be abolished through legislation so as to avoid similar cases in future.
Sifuna gained interest and concern on the issue following the news that was aired on Channel 4 news that showed officials of Cambridge Analytica boasting how they ‘secured’ Uhuru’s position as president in the controversial polls.
