Sifuna who assumed office last week after ODM party’s National Governing Council meeting said that Khalwale had the whole of February to tell Kenyans the truth, but he chose to tell stories and accusations on the opposition coalition NASA.
“You have had a whole month to level with Kenyans, you have chosen to tell tales and cast aspersions. February, the month of love, is over @KBonimtetezi,” read Sifuna’s tweet.
The Secretary General’s remarks came after Khalwale who appeared on Citizen TV’s JKL show on Wednesday night said that all NASA leaders were supposed to meet to take a stand in regard to what they had agreed with the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres.
He also said that when the crowd gathered at Uhuru Park on January 30, NASA chief Raila Odinga made his way to Uhuru Park grounds to avoid leaving the crowd hanging.
Khalwale added that there was no swearing in because there was no judge present as the law requires and the protocols that accompany such functions.
