Forget meeting Uhuru - Influential CS tells Kalonzo, Mudavadi and Wetangula

NASA principals told it is needless to meet Uhuru

Wamalwa who was speaking in Laikipia stated that the president and the opposition chief had already agreed to put Kenya on the path of peace and stability, hence it was needless to hold any further talks.

“I am urging Mr Musalia Mudavadi, Mr Moses Wetang’ula and Mr Kalonzo Musyoka to shelve their plans and join their leader Mr Odinga in promoting peace and stability in the country.” Wamalwa said.

The CS also cautioned the NASA principals to stop grumbling and support the efforts to unite the country.

“Let the Nasa co-principals stop grumbling and instead appreciate the gesture by their leader Mr Odinga in working towards stabilising this country politically.

As Kenyans, we all have a duty to promote positive dialogue instead of promoting divisions in the country.

Once the head of a homestead approaches his neighbour and they agree to resolve a certain issue, the children do not ask for further discussions on a matter that has already been agreed by their father.” Wamalwa said.

The three NASA principals have sought audience with the head of state after it emerged that Odinga had kept them in the dark about the talks.
